Scam websites posing as Komatsu

Scam website is not part of the Komatsu official brand.

Scammers are asking for personal information from people who are hoping for a job within the Komatsu group.

The scammers have setup a bogus company in Ghana that has NO official connection with Komatsu Ltd.
Komatsu dose not have a subsidiary or affiliate called Komatsu Global Mining And Construction Company Ghana and has no connection with such company.

The scam website is using information copied from Komatsu’s official website without permission or authority.

Scammers are also using free web-based email accounts such as Outlook.com, Gmail.com, Yahoo.com the fraudsters are requesting a payment of money in relation to the hiring process.

Sending out emails requesting people provide personal information such as their full names, Address, Phone numbers and scans of their passport.

Komatsu are working with authorities to have the fraudulent website shut down immediately and are advising that people should not respond to emails coming from Komatsu Global Mining And Construction Company Ghana.
