This Mini Excavator course will train you to:

Operate the mini excavator safely and productively

Fit and operate ancillary equipment

Carry out minor adjustments and routine servicing procedures

Understand the capabilities, purposes and limitations of each machine

Follow all necessary safety precautions

Interpret the information provided by level pegs and profiles

Carry out necessary routine adjustments and service procedures

Work to levels with the aid of laser equipment.

Entry requirements

Work

This course is suitable for potential operators who have received no formal instruction and those with minimal operating experience.

You must have passed a CITB Health, Safety and Environment test within the last two years.

Assessment and exams

Assessment will involve both theory and practical tests.

Qualifications/certification

CPCS Red Trained Operator card (on successful completion of the CPCS Technical Tests)
