Dumper Truck Articulated Training CPCS A56

This course is suitable for potential and existing operators who have received no formal instruction and those wishing to refresh their skills.

You must have passed a CITB Health, Safety and Environment test for operatives within the last two years.

Assessment and exams

Assessment will involve both theory and practical tests.

Qualifications/certification:

CPCS Red Trained Operator card (on successful completion of the CPCS Technical Tests)

The Dump Truck: Articulated Chassis CPCS Code A56 course will train you to:

Identify the risks associated with quick-hitch devices
Fit and operate ancillary equipment
Describe the operator’s legal duties regarding the use of quick hitches
Describe and apply safe working practices for the use of quick hitches
Connect and disconnect attachments safely
Know when and how to conduct visual inspections of the quick-hitch equipment
Maintain the quick-hitch equipment
Test connections appropriately
